Meet the photographer!

I’ve loved taking photos for as long as I can remember, but it really took off for me in college when I was first introduced to photography in a more intentional way. I even still have the very first photo I ever took as a baby on a disposable camera, which feels like a pretty solid sign that this was always going to stick.

Outside of photography, I’m most at home outdoors. Hiking, camping, fishing, exploring new places, chasing sunrises and sunsets, those moments fuel my creativity. I’m never afraid to get dirty during a session and will happily sit in the grass, climb a tree, or roll around on the ground if it means capturing something real. I strongly believe in leave no trace practices and approach outdoor spaces with care and respect.

Life at home is full in the best way. I have three kids, three cats, three dogs, and a couple of chickens. My fiancé, Iris, often helps behind the scenes and is a huge part of this journey. I love music, spend a lot of time gardening, and consider myself a professional dad joke teller, at least in my own opinion.

When it comes to photography, I specialize in weddings, couples, and families using a candid, connection-first approach. I’m especially great for couples who want guidance without feeling overly posed or awkward. You don’t need to know what to do in front of the camera, I’ll guide you in a way that feels natural and easy.

My style is often described as dark and moody, though I see it as deep and romantic. I use rich color and intentional lighting to create a distinct atmosphere, which often results in a mix of brighter images alongside deeper, more cinematic moments. I’ve been photographing weddings for over a decade, and every gallery is shaped around emotion, not trends.

I work with couples and families from all walks of life, regardless of orientation or beliefs. Everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and celebrated.

If you’re drawn to photos that feel real, romantic, and deeply personal, I’d love to connect and see if we’re a good fit!
